Information Technology with Project Management Specialization

Gain advanced IT management skills while building expertise for your project management certification with an online master’s degree in information technology with a project management specialization from UMGC. UMGC master's degree programs with project management specializations are recognized by the Global Accreditation Center (GAC) of the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Academic Relationship
Completing this program earns you the project management education hours required to sit for the Project Management Professional (PMP) Credential Examination or the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) Exam. If you are already certified as a Project Management Professional by the Project Management Institute, you may receive credit for (3 Credits, PMAN 634) if you begin study for the master's degree within five years of earning certification. The MBA degree program requires 36 credits of coursework. Courses must be taken sequentially. An introductory course (PRO 600) may be waived for students who already have a graduate degree. You must complete each course with a grade of B or better to advance to the next course. The grade of C is not available for these courses.
Specialized Program Accreditation
