The online graduate certificate in cybersecurity management and policy at University of Maryland Global Campus provides a broad analytical framework for evaluating and solving cybersecurity problems. Examine governmental and organizational responses to cybersecurity threats, assess technical and organizational controls used to detect and prevent intrusions, and create policies and procedures to restore operations after a cyber attack. You’ll also explore the legal foundations of cybersecurity, as well as the roles of government and international and private organizations.

We recommend ASC 601 if you'd like to improve your graduate writing skills.

This innovative program uses a multidisciplinary approach, drawing from fields such as management, law, science, business, technology, and psychology. Designed with input from employers, industry experts, and scholars, the curriculum combines theories with real-world applications to provide you with skills for protecting critical cyber infrastructure.
