This program is accredited as a Health Information Management Master of Science Degree by the Commission for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM), 200 East Randolph Street, Suite 5100, Chicago, IL, 60601. CAHIIM is a specialized accrediting agency recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation. CAHIIM institutes and enforces accreditation standards and accredits Health Informatics and Health Information Management degree programs at the associate, baccalaureate, and master's degree levels in the United States and Puerto Rico.
Graduates of the Masters of Science in Health Informatics Administration program are eligible to apply for the Registered Health Information Administrator national certification examination offered by the American Health Information Management Association.
