NCMA Contract Management Standard™

The Master of Science in Acquisition and Contract Management program at UMGC uses the National Contract Management Association's (NCMA) ANSI-approved Contract Management Standard™ (CMS) as the basis of its program and course curricula to help ensure our students' success in the workforce. Through the program's alignment with the CMS, UMGC prepares students for NCMA's Certified Contract Management Associate (CCMA) certification, which demonstrates proficiency in the CMS and is a strong stepping stone into the contract management profession. We are committed to driving student success through instruction of the phases, domains, competencies, and skills that are common across the contract management profession.
